How does scoring work in TAO? (II)
How Do I Deliver tests?
There are four ways to deliver a test - in other words, to enable test-takers to sit for the test.
Before a test can be delivered, it needs to be assembled in the form of a delivery. See the section How Do I Publish a Test? for more details.
- Using Guest Access.
The easiest way to deliver a test is to use Guest Access. See the section How Do I Use Guest Access for more details.
This option can also be used by the test author to preview a test.
- Assigning the test to an internal group of test-takers.
You can deliver a test internally to your own students.
See the section How Do I Deliver Tests Internally? for more details on how to do this.
- Using an LTI application.
TAO-designed tests can be delivered to students through an LTI platform external to the TAO environment, such as Moodle.
See the section How Do I Integrate TAO Into My LMS Using LTI for more details on how to do this.
- Referring the delivery to a test center.
Test centers can be registered in TAO to deliver tests to test-takers.
See the section How Do I Manage Test Centers and Enable Them to Deliver Tests for more details on licensing test centers to assign deliveries to test-takers.
Note: The option to assign a delivery to test-takers from the Deliveries page is not available in the Ignite/Premium Edition of TAO.
