Using Metadata to Classify Your Items in TAO

Metadata is important because it provides a way of classifying your items or tests. The information provided in the metadata can then be used to organize your items and tests more efficiently, and also enables you to analyze test results in different ways. 

Metadata functionalities are available in the core version of TAO, so there is no need to install any add-on to be able to use them. There are no limits on the number of metadata fields other than the readability on the screen.
