Thinking About Test Questions (and Choosing Interactions) According to Task Type
Test authors
We know, also, that Tessa Austin is one of the two people who will be putting tests together using the items Ian and Iris and the others have created. She needs to have the role of Test Author. In order to gain full access to the items, she will need to be assigned the role of Item Author as well.
The job of test authors is to create and author tests – in other words, organize the items which have been created into a test format which can be presented to test-takers. In this role, they can move, copy and delete tests, as well as import and export them. They can classify their tests by defining the metadata labels. Test authors are automatically also assigned the role of Tests Manager. In this capacity, they can manage the Test library (creating new folders, importing, exporting and deleting folders).
