Task sub-type: CONFIRM

In the section Sub-types of COMPLETE, the interaction typically used for the task sub-type CONFIRM was named as Hottext.

The Hottext interaction is generally used to provide a complete structure - in this case a text - for candidates to work with. In the prompt (and in the text itself), the candidate's attention is drawn to certain parts of the text which are considered to be of doubtful content, and asked to confirm their validity. If they do not wish to confirm the content of a specific place in the text as being correct, they can reject it.  In the example given below, candaidates are asked to confirm (or reject) the spelling of the words marked.
