Setting up proctors in TAO Core
This article only applies to TAO Core. In TAO Portal, users are assigned roles when they are created in the Portal.

On-site proctoring enables a teacher or administrator to follow the progress of test-takers, to submit a report on the status of the delivery and to intervene if necessary.
In order to do this, a user has to have the role of proctor. The administrator (the person with the role of global manager or systems administrator) will need to add this user in your TAO instance, by selecting Add a user from the User Management drop-down menu (the people icon near the top right of the screen), as in the image below.
