Part 1: Setting up your working environment

Part 1 provides you with some ideas for how to best set up your authoring environment. These include ideas, and potentially best practices, for:

  • deciding which team members are going to carry out which tasks in TAO
  • setting them up as TAO users and making sure they have the right roles for these tasks
  • organizing your libraries to provide both a workspace for each team member as well as an overall structure for the topics you are developing test materials for
  • making sure each team member has access to the right areas of the workspace
