Thinking About Test Questions (and Choosing Interactions) According to Task Type
Overview
Previously, the search functionality in TAO only used labels - i.e. item names (or test names depending on the library you were in) - as search keys.
The new advanced search function - available at the moment in the Enterprise version of TAO - provides the possibility of refining your search, hence achieving better results. It also makes use of a separate search interface, making the search process more efficient. Customers who want the full functionality of the new advanced search will need to install an external package called Elastic Search. The same search interface is, however, available in TAO Core without installing Elastic Search. This version provides limited functionality.
The search functionality is located at the top right of your screen, on the black bar. You can either enter your search query directly in the box, as before, or you may elect to use the new search interface.
