Concluding Part 1
In Part 1 of this course we looked at the terminology used in TAO's architecture. Most of the terms used to refer to elements of the architecture are self-explanatory, as they mirror those used in other software products. The few for which it was thought that the user might benefit from some elaboration were: Library, Class, Canvas and Properties and Extensions.
In the second part, we will examine the terminology used to create and deliver assessments in TAO.
TAO's Architecture
Note: It may be that some of the components which George needs already exist. In this case, he can upload them, or use existing versions from the libraries (e.g. the existing items on ‘Capitals of the World’ shown in the image above). Part 2 will provide information on the components of an assessment.
