Activate the search

Click on the blue Search button at the bottom of the left-hand panel.

Only do this once you have defined your search query, the class and added any criteria which you wish to include if using Elastic Search.

Note: The query in the search field will be used to search in all of the properties (in other words, it will try to match onto any of the property values in your items, not just the label of the item). This functions in the same way as entering a search query in the box on the main TAO user interface, except that in the advanced search it can be narrowed down to a specific class.
