Summary and Conclusion

This course provides an overview of what extensions are and how they work, showing how they relate to the features which are available in TAO.

It provides information on:

1. Which features (and the corresponding extensions) are available for different areas (and thus user groups) of TAO, including:

• authors of tests and test materials
• assessment providers
• test-takers
• education analysts
• system administrators

2. Which features are available in which TAO packages, including:

• TAO Enterprise: a bespoke, end-to-end assessment software solution augmented with features specific to its customers
• TAO Ignite: a complete out-of-the-box digital assessment solution
• TAO Pro: a complete out-of-the-box digital assessment solution with dedicated account management support  
• TAO Core: TAO's open assessment software
