Test-running the item

Now, Ian saves the item, then clicks Preview.

Next, he enters some responses and clicks Submit. The outcome should be similar to the screenshot below.

You can see that the test-taker scored 1 on the first interaction (SCORE_1), 2 on the second (SCORE_2) and 3 on the third (SCORE_3). In other words, the variables for the scores of the individual items have now been filled, which is what Ian wanted.

The total score for the whole item is therefore 6 (SCORE), out of a possible 9 points (MAXSCORE).
