Sub-tasks of CONNECT

The CONNECT task can be divided into the two following sub-types:

LINK items which are related in some way.

This sub-type covers a number of potential types of relationship, and the relationship is defined in the question. The relationship between the items in question might be denoted by a given semantic field, or a historical, fictional or numerical context. The interactions traditionally associated with this task are; Match, Graphic Gap Match, Associate, and Graphic Associate.

ORDER a list of elements of information according to a given maxim. 

This sub-type includes orders such as those based on size, type, or chronology. The interactions traditionally associated with this task are Order and Graphic Order.
